20th Licensing Round Norway has been Announced
The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy of Norway has on June 27th 2008 announced the 20th licensing round. The Government will include 79 blocks/parts of blocks in the 20th licensing round, with 51 in the Norwegian Sea and 28 in the Barents Sea.The application deadline has been set to 1200 hrs. on 7 November 2008. The awards are scheduled for the spring of 2009. TGS has collected a comprehensive database of 2D and 3D seismic, ElectroMagnetic, Gravity and Magnetic surveys, interpretations, studies and reports over the announced blocks.

For the 20th Licensing Round in Norway, TGS is pleased to announce that the Troms III PSTM MultiClient 3D is now available over 20th Round blocks 7116/11 & 7016/2. .
TGS & OHM MCEM/CSEM Database for the 20th Round in Norway
TGS is pleased to inform that 6 CSEM/MCEM lines acquired together with OHM this summer are now available for 20. Round work. Four of these lines are testing well defined prospects within the 20. Round blocks and the last two test prospects for future MC3D and Rounds. The TGS total CSEM/MCEM database in open blocks now consists of 15 lines, 11 of these are testing prospects directly inside the 20 Round blocks. We are pleased to add co-rendered CSEM inversion and seismic depth sections as part of the delivery. Please for further information.
